why don't you..pick up a good book?

On this cold and rainy morning in Washington, all ICDC can think to do is curl up with a good book and a steaming cup of coffee..

What to read?  Try a few of these fantastic design books:

Alexa Hampton, "The Language of Interior Design"

"Vintage Remix: the Interiors of Kishani Perera"

Mary McDonald, "Interiors: the Allure of Style"

Michael Smith, "Elements of Style"

Miles Redd, "The Big Book of Chic"

Alex Papachristidis, "The Age of Elegance"

Phoebe Howard, "The Joy of Decorating"

Heather Clawson, "Creativity at Work"

Brian Coleman, "Fortuny"

Jeffrey Bilhuber, "Defining Luxury"

Becker & Copestick, "1000 Design Ideas for Every Room in your Home"

All books are available at www.amazon.com and www.barnesandnoble.com

If you're like ICDC and would rather borrow from the library, visit www.dclibrary.org.  The DC system is fantastic: if there's a book you want, but it's not housed at your neighborhood library (http://dclibrary.org/about/neighborhood), place a hold online and ask for it to be delivered!

You can now follow ICDC by email!  Subscribe via the new button on the top right side of the site.
